What do you believe?  It’s a question that every person, regardless of age, class, or gender, should ask themselves.  As Christians, it not a question from which we should run, but rather a question that we should embrace and search out the answer to.

As a church, our “official” set of beliefs can be found in a document known as the “Baptist Faith and Message,” a copy of which can be seen here: http://www.sbc.net/bfm/bfm2000.asp

A summary of that statement of beliefs is this: We believe that the Bible is completely true, from front to back, and was given to us by God as a way of revealing Jesus Christ to the entire world.  Jesus, as God’s Son, died and rose again, making a way for people to have a relationship with God and spend forever in Heaven with Him.  As the church, it is our job to cling to this hope and belief, putting all of our stock in this truth, and doing everything we can to take that truth to the world.
