P2 - Men's Ministry

Live it out. Be inspired and encouraged to become the man God has called you to be. Join us as we pray together, study God’s Word together, and serve together. The P2 Men’s ministry at Chapel Hill was developed around 4 main ministry areas. Bible study, mission projects, prayer and fellowship.
Bible Study
August through May the men of Chapel Hill meet and study God’s word on Sunday nights starting at 6pm. This is a study facilitated by the men of Chapel Hill for the men of Chapel Hill and the community.
Mission Projects
These projects are done around our community as well as a quarterly men’s work day around the church. In the past these projects included rebuilding handicap ramps and porches, cutting grass and trees, and pressure washing and painting houses. Church work days include clearing and trimming shrubs, cutting down trees, and any general maintenance needs we may have.
We spend the first part of each Sunday night praying for each other and any prayer request that our shared. We believe that God answers prayers and we believe that God is still in the miracle business. Prayer request are held with the deepest confidence but there is a special peace that comes when you know Godly men are praying for your throughout the week.
We know men like to eat and we are no exception. We meet quarterly on a Sunday morning for a Men’s breakfast. This is a time for men of all ages to come together and fellowship and be inspired by quest speakers. We also meet off site at local restaurants 2-3 times a year for a time of fellowship and prayer as well as being challenged by God’s word through leaders in our community.
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (Philippians 2:1-4)
