Summer Day Camp

Dear Parents,

At Chapel Hill we strive to give your child an enjoyable summer while teaching them biblical life skills.

We know last summer was a totally different summer, but we were blessed to be able to still have summer camp. We are looking forward to this summer and the possibility of getting back to some normalcy. We are still working on field trips and other in house activities and will share those with you more as the summer gets closer.

Camp will start on June 1st and end on August 6th. We are also excited for the return of our Summer Camp Directors. Karlie Colburn will be over our Kindergarten through fourth grade camp and Ryan and Meredith will be leading our preteen (5th and 6th) camp!

Each morning we begin with announcements followed by 30 minutes of praise and worship and 30 minutes of Bible study. Your child will be placed in a group according to the grade he or she has just completed. They will stay with this group throughout the day. We will have different activities planned for each day along with various field trips throughout the week.

Due to our transportation limitations we will only be able to enroll 80 full time campers for our Kindergarten through fourth grade camp and 25 campers for fifth and sixth grade camp. A full time camper is committed to the entire summer with the exception of one week for vacation. We will also take drop-ins. Drop-ins may only attend camp on the days we stay in house. For K-4, these days are Tuesday and Thursday. For 5 & 6, these days are Monday and Wednesday.

We will also be hosting an open house mid-May to give you and your child a chance to meet the staff or if you have any questions.

Over the years we have tried hard to not increase our tuition and to cover the cost of the weekly field trips. We do not plan on any of that changing this year. However, if minimum wage increases we will have to make adjustments to the weekly tuition and/or adjust on field trips. We do not anticipate this happening, but we wanted to make you aware of it in advance just in case we have to make a change.

First Week Tuition: $90
TOTAL: $220 due today

Grades 5th/6th

Registration Fee: $100
Travel Fee: $30
First Week Tuition: $100
TOTAL: $230 due today

TOTAL: $100 due today (staff will contact you regarding further payments)

Extra shirts are available during registration and may affect the total cost. Each extra travel shirt is $10 and we will also be offering a special Friday shirt for $10.
