Wednesday night is the time Chapel Hill Students (7th-12th grade) come together to worship. We start at 6:15 pm every week. Refuge is an amazing time that God works through worship, dramas, and the study of His Word. Our desire is for every student who enters Chapel Hill to find refuge in the Lord, a loving body of believers, and a place to find healing in the Lord.
Sunday Morning Small Groups
We believe that one of the most important elements in a student’s life is being involved in a community. During Sunday morning small groups, students are broken up into appropriate age groups, and separated into guys and girls. As a church, all ages study the same scripture and theme as an aid for families in talking about what God has showed them and how he has changed their lives during their small group times. Student Small Groups meet at 9am in the Refuge room for announcements then break-off into small groups.
There is a fall and spring semester for Life Groups. Life Groups are the communities where believers dig deeper into the Word, provide strong accountability, and focus on becoming a deep followers of Jesus. These groups are also separated by grades and gender. Life Groups are where we truly desire to see deep community built among young believers so they can be transparent and real with what is going on in their lives.
