Women's Ministry

Chapel Hill Women’s Ministry is made up of women of all ages.
Bible Study
August through May, several Sunday night Bible studies are offered for women at Chapel Hill. Each group starts at 6 p.m. These groups range from book studies, fun and fitness that focuses on both spiritual and physical growth, and Women iN God’s Service. WINGS is a group that focuses on helping others and also gathers on Mondays throughout the year. On Sunday nights, the WINGS meetings comprise of sharing testimonies and devotionals as well hosts guest speakers from time to time.

Every spring and fall, the Women’s Ministry hosts a large event for women of all ages. Sometimes these gatherings include prominent guest speakers and other times they focus more on crafts and fellowshipping together. Other smaller events might take place throughout the year as well. We love inviting women from outside of Chapel Hill to fellowship with us.

The Women’s Ministry at large also takes on charity projects and donates to causes. We also pray for and support missions abroad. The WINGS group often organizes missions within the community, such as heading up the Samaritan’s Purse shoe boxes. Other projects include collecting school supplies for local children, visiting those who are home-bound, and helping those in need with housework or other essential tasks.

Every year the Women’s Ministry takes a trip to the Dot Mom conference in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a Lifeway sponsored conference for mothers of all ages to receive spiritual guidance and renewal about motherhood, marriage, and life in general. It lasts two days, and is also a fun, affordable weekend trip for women to get to know one another and fellowship together. You do not have to be a church member to go on this trip. Many women have gone after a friend invited them and had such a great experience that they later attended Chapel Hill.
